A WARM LUNAR NEW YEAR 2025 FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AT ICTU
As late 2024 approaches and the winter chill sets in, the Lunar New Year (Tet)—Vietnam’s most significant traditional festival—is drawing near. For international students at the University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU), this is a special occasion to experience unique cultural traditions and feel the warmth and care from the university and the community.
To ensure a joyful and meaningful Tet for international students who are unable to return home to their families, ICTU has organized a special program: “Celebrating Lunar New Year 2025 for International Students.”
Program Highlights:
-
The Homestay Program: This program offers international students a chance to gain deeper insights into Vietnamese culture, language, and traditional Tet customs. Running from January 22, 2025, to January 31, 2025, university staff and faculty members will welcome students to join their families and experience daily life during the festive season.
-
Tet Greeting Ceremony: University leaders, in coordination with relevant departments, will host a gathering to present gifts and extend New Year wishes to students.
-
Time: 3:00 PM, Thursday, January 23, 2025.
-
Location: Meeting Room 3, Building C1.
-
The program aims to create a safe and healthy environment for international students during the holiday. It serves as a bridge to help them understand Vietnamese traditions while demonstrating the heartfelt care and hospitality of the university and the community, ensuring every student enjoys a warm and memorable Tet holiday.
