INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM: A MEMORABLE MILESTONE ON THE GLOBAL ACADEMIC STAGE

With a robust international cooperation network, ICTU provides numerous opportunities for learning, internships, and cultural experiences at partner educational institutions and international enterprises. Recently, the ICTU Institute of International Training (IIT) facilitated exchange programs in South Korea and Malaysia for students enrolled in the International Joint Software Engineering program with Kyungpook National University (South Korea) and the International Information Technology program.
Michelle Taiwo Ayomide Akinyooye, a student currently participating in this program at INTI International University, Malaysia, shared some insights about her academic journey there. Michelle—a charming student from Nigeria—chose ICTU and the International Bachelor of Information Technology (taught in English) at the Institute of International Training (IIT) as the foundation for her knowledge journey. Beyond her impressive academic record (GPA 3.72/4.0), she is an outgoing, enthusiastic, and energetic international student with a passion for discovery and new experiences.

“Overwhelmed” – First Impressions
“The moment I stepped onto the campus of INTI International University, Malaysia, I was overwhelmed by its modern beauty and lush green spaces. “The workload and projects are quite intensive, but with the dedicated guidance of the professors, I always feel that everything is under control. Studying in such a dynamic and professional environment has allowed me to make significant progress. The campus offers many excellent study spaces, from quiet libraries stocked with reference materials to modern group study rooms. The library here has become like a ‘second home’ to me—a place where I can comfortably study and conduct research.”
