The Institute of International Training (IIT) Welcomes Prof. Kyong Hoon Kim from Kyungpook National University (KNU), South Korea for an Academic Lecture Series
As part of ongoing international educational cooperation and efforts to enhance academic quality, from April 14 to April 17, 2026, the University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) and the International Training Institute (IIT) honorably welcomed Prof. Kyong Hoon Kim – a distinguished lecturer from Kyungpook National University (KNU), South Korea, for a working and teaching visit at the university.
During this visit, Prof. Kyong Hoon Kim is in charge of teaching the “Algorithm Practice” module to students of class KTPM K23 KNU at the Institute of International Training (IIT). This is one of the core specialized modules designed to provide students with advanced programming mindsets and modern algorithm optimization methods in accordance with international standards.
To ensure that the Professor’s working and teaching schedule runs smoothly and achieves the highest efficiency, the ICTU Board of Management, along with the Institute of International Training and relevant administrative departments (Academic Affairs, Planning-Finance, Science-Technology & International Cooperation, and Administration-Organization), collaborated closely to finalize all preparations. These preparations ranged from lecture hall arrangements and administrative procedures to airport pick-up logistics. According to the schedule, welcoming the Professor from Noi Bai International Airport to Thai Nguyen and arranging accommodation were thoughtfully carried out on the very first day of the itinerary.
The visit and lecture series by Prof. Kyong Hoon Kim not only offer KTPM K23 KNU students a valuable opportunity to learn from a foreign expert—enhancing both their professional expertise and English communication skills—but also reaffirm the prestige of the International Training Institute (IIT) in implementing cross-border academic collaborations and joint training programs.
We wish Prof. Kyong Hoon Kim a highly productive working visit and memorable experiences at ICTU! We also hope the students of KTPM K23 KNU will acquire a wealth of useful knowledge from this special course!
