[NEWS] THE INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL TRAINING (IIT) – ICTU SPARKS “GLOBAL CITIZEN” ASPIRATIONS AMONG STUDENTS AT VO NGUYEN GIAP HIGH SCHOOL

On May 18, 2026, the delegation from the Institute of International Training (IIT) at the University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) paid a meaningful visit to Vo Nguyen Giap High School. The enrollment and career orientation workshop not only delivered the latest admission updates but also opened up breakthrough career path orientations for students on the threshold of university.

In the enthusiastic atmosphere of the working session, the IIT delegation provided an overview of ICTU’s dynamic, modern, and highly practical learning environment—one of the region’s leading and most prestigious symbols of technology education. The highlight that drew special attention from teachers and numerous students at Vo Nguyen Giap High School was the ecosystem of international programs taught entirely in English, directly managed by IIT.

1. Dual-Degree Program in Software Engineering (In partnership with Kyungpook National University – KNU, South Korea)

This is a strategic collaborative program between ICTU and Kyungpook National University—one of the most prestigious and long-standing public universities in Daegu, South Korea (consistently ranked high on prestigious global leaderboards such as THE and QS).

• An Outstanding Edge in Credentials: Students study for 3 years at ICTU and the final year at KNU. Upon graduation, they will receive two separate, official Bachelor’s degrees (a Bachelor in Software Engineering from ICTU and a Bachelor in Computer Science & Technology from KNU).
• Cost & Pathway Optimization: Students can possess a global asset from a top-tier South Korean university at a highly economical cost, while opening up seamless pathways to obtain a Master’s degree with just one additional year of advanced study.

2. International Information Technology Program (IT Global)

• For the IT Global and AI Global programs: Scholarships worth VND 8,500,000 each will be awarded to incoming freshmen holding an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher (or equivalent).
• For the ICTU – KNU Dual-Degree program:
  • An immediate scholarship of USD 333.33 (approximately VND 8,800,000) upon admission for students with an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher.
  • Notably, the opportunity to receive a student exchange scholarship to study in South Korea worth up to USD 2,667 per semester (approximately VND 70,000,000) is evaluated every semester.
