[NEWS] THE INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL TRAINING (IIT) – ICTU DRIVES ENROLLMENT CAMPAIGN, EXPANDING “GLOBAL CITIZEN” OPPORTUNITIES FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AT TUYEN QUANG SPECIALIZED SCHOOL
On May 13, 2026, the delegation from the Institute of International Training (IIT) at the University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) officially launched its enrollment and career orientation campaign at Tuyen Quang Specialized school. The visit not only delivered the latest admission updates but also opened doors to promising career paths in the digital era for high school students.
During the working sessions and admission workshops, the IIT delegation provided an overview of ICTU’s dynamic and modern learning environment—one of the leading and most prestigious technology universities in the region. The highlight of the program, which drew immense interest from parents and students alike, was the ecosystem of international programs taught entirely in English, directly managed and delivered by IIT.
With the mission of “Nurturing Global Citizens,” IIT’s programs are highly practical and tailored to meet the stringent demands of major domestic and international employers. Three “spearhead” international programs were introduced in-depth during this recruitment drive:
1. Dual-Degree Program in Software Engineering (In partnership with Kyungpook National University – KNU, South Korea)
This is a prestigious collaborative program between ICTU and Kyungpook National University—a long-standing, top-tier institution in Daegu, South Korea, consistently highly ranked on global leaderboards such as THE and QS.
- A Competitive Edge in Credentials: Upon completion of the program (consisting of 3 years at ICTU and the final year at KNU), outstanding students will graduate with two official Bachelor’s degrees (one in Software Engineering from ICTU and one in Computer Science & Technology from KNU).
- Cost & Time Efficiency: Students can earn a degree from a top South Korean university at a highly reasonable cost, with a seamless pathway to obtain a Master’s degree with just one additional year of advanced study.
2. International Information Technology Program (IT Global)
Built around the philosophy of “Go Global,” this program equips students with both a solid foundation in IT and fluent English communication skills. Capitalizing on today’s biggest technology boom, AI Global trains a high-quality workforce that excels in both fields: “Expert in AI + Fluent in English.” Students learn and conduct research in state-of-the-art supercomputing labs (AI & Big Data Lab) to build and train real-world AI models. Career opportunities are vast, allowing graduates to work at international enterprises or work remotely with competitive USD-denominated salaries, applying AI across diverse sectors like healthcare, finance, and education.
🎁 SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP POLICIES FOR 2026
To encourage and support young talents to push their boundaries, the Institute of International Training (IIT) – ICTU has announced an attractive scholarship fund exclusively for the incoming cohort:
- For the IT Global and AI Global programs: 05 scholarships worth VND 8,500,000 each will be awarded to freshmen holding an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher (or equivalent).
- For the ICTU – KNU Dual-Degree program:
- An immediate scholarship of USD 333.33 (approximately VND 8,800,000) upon admission for students with an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher.
- Notably, every semester the Institute offers 02 student exchange scholarships to South Korea worth up to USD 2,667 each (approximately VND 70,000,000).
