[NEWS] ENTHUSIASM SPARKS AS NORWEGIAN RESEARCH FELLOW LUKAS ENGAGES WITH K24A INTERNATIONAL IT STUDENTS
On January 14 and 15, 2026, first-year students from the K24A Preparatory English Class for International IT at the Institute of International Training (IIT) – University of Information and Communication Technology had a memorable academic and cultural experience through a special exchange session with Lukas, a research fellow from Norway.
The event is part of a series of activities aimed at enhancing language proficiency and fostering international exposure for students right from their first year at the Institute.
Breaking Barriers and Boosting Language Confidence
From the very first minutes, the classroom atmosphere became vibrant and energetic. Thanks to Lukas’s openness and friendliness, the K24A freshmen quickly overcame their initial hesitation to confidently use English for communication.
Moving past the typical boundary between “native speaker” and “learner,” the session transformed into a dynamic multi-directional dialogue. Students proactively introduced the beauty of Vietnamese culture, cuisine, and people, while eagerly asking questions to learn about Norway and the academic and research environment in Europe.
