IIT STUDENTS EXPLORE CAREER AND INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AT RQ TECHNOLOGY ELECTRONICS VIETNAM

To bridge the gap between academic learning and the professional world, on May 9, 2026, the Institute of International Training (IIT) at the University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) organized a field trip to RQ Technology Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. The visit provided K22 and K23 students with valuable insights into internship and career prospects within the global tech industry.

The program was executed following Plan No. 194/KH-ĐHCNTT&TT, approved by the University President. This initiative is a core part of IIT’s commitment to practical education, helping students gain a first-hand look at the production and operational workflows of leading technology enterprises.

A Hands-on Professional Experience

Led by Dr. Nguyen Thi Mai Phuong (Director of IIT) the delegation— members and students—spent a productive day at the company’s headquarters in Yen Binh Industrial Park, Thai Nguyen.

Upon arrival, the group received a warm welcome from the representatives of RQ Technology Electronics. During the visit, students participated in several key activities:

• Facility Tour: Students explored the modern and professional workspace of a top-tier electronics manufacturer.
• Career & Internship Briefing: Company representatives provided detailed information regarding 2026 internship placements, recruitment procedures, and the specific skills and attitudes required to succeed in the current market.
• Interactive Q&A: K22 and K23 students engaged in a lively discussion, asking questions about career paths and the latest technologies being implemented at the plant.

Strengthening University-Industry Partnerships

This field trip was more than just a learning experience; it was an opportunity for IIT to strengthen its strategic partnership with industry leaders. On behalf of the Institute, the leadership team presented commemorative gifts and expressed their gratitude to RQ Technology Electronics for their dedicated support in guiding and mentoring the next generation of tech talent.
