Conference on Internships Abroad Opportunities – IAESTE 2024
On March 7th 2024, ICTU organized the Conference on Internships Abroad Opportunities with the presence of representatives of IAESTE Vietnam; Representatives of board leaders of functional divisions: Division of Science – Technology and International Cooperation, Division of Academic Affairs, Division of Student Affairs, Department of Training, Institute of International Training and Academic Faculties; The students of cohorts K18, K19, K20 and K21, K22 who wish to intern abroad.
This is a great opportunity for ICTU students to access internship abroad opportunities, promptly participate in interviews and complete application documents for internship abroad opportunities with the support of ICTU and IAESTE Vietnam Office.

Within the framework of the Conference, students can learn information about internship opportunities in a variety of fields and occupations in major countries around the world. At the same time, students’ questions about internship professions, companies, internship countries and procedures were answered in detail by representatives of IAESTE Vietnam and ICTU.
IAESTE is a non-profit, non-governmental organization serving 4,000 students, 3,000 employers and 1,000 academic institutions (research institutes, universities, colleges) through technical experience internship programs abroad, social and intercultural programs, international networks and other branding and career-building activities in more than 80 countries around the world. IAESTE Vietnam – Thai Nguyen University joined the International IAESTE Association since June 2006. IAESTE Vietnam National Office was officially established in accordance to Decision No. 734/QD-TCCB dated July 13th 2007. The headquarters of the IAESTE Vietnam National Office is located at the International School, Thai Nguyen University.
IAESTE has cooperative relationships with organizations: United Nations, Food and Agriculture Organization, EU (European Union), UNESCO (Organization for Education, Science and Culture of the United Nations).

In recent years, many ICTU students have participated in internship programs abroad, and at the same time, many student groups from countries around the world have come to intern at ICTU under the international intern exchange program IAESTE.
With the advantage of studying in an international environment – using English regularly, students of the Institute of International Education have many favorable opportunities to participate in internship programs abroad through IAESTE connections.
Hopefully, with useful information from the Conference, the Institute of International Training’s students will have more motivation to study and practice to be able to take advantage of internship opportunities abroad, thereby opening up new opportunities for greater development in the future.
