VIBRANT COLORS AT “COLOURFUL ICTU 2026” INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM
On the evening of September 21, 2026, the 3rd International Student Exchange Program — “Colourful ICTU 2026” took place at the Multi-purpose Hall of the University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) in an extraordinarily lively, warm, and energetic atmosphere. The event drew enthusiastic participation from a large number of delegates, guests, interns, students from the Institute of International Training, and students across the university.
Impressive Opening and a Multi-Cultural Space
Organized based on the proposal from the Department of Science – Technology & International Cooperation, “Colourful ICTU 2026” aimed to create a meaningful playground, foster solidarity, and promote cultural exchange between Vietnamese students and international students and interns.
The event was honored by the presence of representatives from the University Board of Management, leaders of various Departments, Faculties, Institutes, and Centers, along with all Vietnamese and international students and interns currently studying and conducting research at ICTU.
Starting at 7:00 PM, the atmosphere at the Multi-purpose Hall heated up with impressive welcome performances:
- Dynamic and graceful martial arts dance by the Taekwondo Club.
- Artistic dance performance “Blossoming Essence” (Khởi sắc tinh hoa) by the Chinese Club.
- Youthful and soulful melodies featuring “La La La” (performed by Duy Ngoc), “Zhen Tan / How Come (怎叹)” (performed by Dinh Hieu), and a song-and-dance performance “Prosperous Vietnam” by the English Club.
In the opening speech, the representative of the Board of Management extended warm congratulations and encouragement to all students in their academic and exchange pursuits, while presenting meaningful souvenirs to international students and interns.
Students from the Institute of International Training Shine in Exchange Activities
At “Colourful ICTU 2026”, students from the Institute of International Training demonstrated proactiveness, confidence, and a spirit of seamless connection through an exciting series of experiential activities:
- Fun Facts About ICTU: Students enthusiastically answered questions about the history, culture, and learning environment at ICTU to win attractive gifts.
- Multicultural Exploration: Joint teams of Vietnamese and international students worked together to conquer trivia questions about global cultures, showcasing deep understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity.
- Traditional Game – “Pitching Arrows into a Pitcher” (Ném gậy vào bình): The team from the Institute of International Training engaged in a thrilling competition against teams from the Faculty of Forestry Science, the English Club, and the Chinese Club, bringing joyful laughter and relaxing moments to the entire hall.
- Bamboo Dancing (Nhảy sạp) & Sing-Along: The connection grew stronger than ever as delegates, lecturers, and students joined hands in traditional bamboo dancing and sang along to beloved tunes such as “To The Moon” and “Gặp người đúng lúc (刚好遇见你)”.
Closing a Connecting Journey — Opening an Integrated Future
Though “Colourful ICTU 2026” concluded at 10:05 PM on the same evening, the beautiful moments, radiant smiles, and cross-border friendships formed among students will linger on. The active participation of students from the Institute of International Training not only affirmed the dynamic and confident integration spirit of ICTU students, but also helped spread the image of a friendly, multicultural, and vibrant university.
