Lively Seminar “The AI Era – Learning and Working Opportunities in Taiwan” Held at IIT-ICTU
On May 15th, 2025, a successful seminar themed “The AI Era – Learning and Working Opportunities in Taiwan” was organized by the International Training Institute (IIT) at the 5th-floor hall of building C1, University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU). The event attracted a large number of IIT students and the broader tech-enthusiast community.
The seminar was honored by the presence of:
- Dr. Vu Duc Thai – Vice Rector of the University
- Dr. Chun-Ming Lai, Tunghai University, Taiwan – Speaker
- Dr. Tran Van Khanh, Institute of Science, Technology and Application – Speaker
- Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Faculty of Information Technology – Speaker
- MSc. Duong Thi Hong An – Deputy Head of the Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation
- Along with many students from the International Training Institute.
At the beginning of the program, students had the opportunity to hear valuable insights from Dr. Chun-Ming Lai on “Learning and Working Opportunities in Taiwan.” He provided detailed information about advanced training programs, a dynamic working environment, and attractive development opportunities for international students in the technology field, especially in AI.
Following this, Dr. Tran Van Khanh delivered an insightful presentation on “Generative Artificial Intelligence for the Software Engineering Industry: Challenges and Opportunities.” His presentation clarified the significant impact of generative AI on software development processes, while also pointing out the challenges and opportunities that future software engineers need to grasp.
Finally, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh sparked the students’ interest with the topic “Start with AI.” He shared foundational knowledge about AI and suggested initial steps for young people to begin their journey of exploring and conquering this promising field.
The seminar took place in an open and highly interactive atmosphere. Students actively asked questions and exchanged ideas with the speakers, broadening their knowledge and gaining a more comprehensive perspective on the AI era and the opportunities in Taiwan.
This event once again affirmed IIT-ICTU’s commitment to equipping students with the best knowledge and opportunities for international integration, especially in the rapidly developing field of Artificial Intelligence.
