IIT-ICTU Students Seize International Internship Opportunities at IAESTE Seminar 2025

At 9:00 AM on March 14, 2025, the University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) successfully held a seminar introducing overseas internship opportunities for 2025. The event was organized by the university in collaboration with the IAESTE Vietnam office and attracted a large number of students from the International Training Institute (IIT), who harbor dreams of experiencing an international working environment.

This seminar was part of a long-term partnership between ICTU and IAESTE Vietnam – a reputable international organization specializing in supporting student internship exchanges in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. With the aim of providing students with access to high-quality internship programs abroad, the event not only provided detailed information about the application process but also shared real-world experiences from students who had participated in the program previously.

Speaking at the seminar, a representative of ICTU affirmed, “The university always creates the best conditions for students to have the opportunity to study and work in an international environment. The IAESTE 2025 seminar is one of our efforts to help IIT students realize their dreams of reaching international heights.”

uring the seminar, a representative from the IAESTE Vietnam office gave an overview of the organization, partner countries, and the industries in which ICTU students could undertake internships in 2025. Notably, fields related to information technology, software engineering, and communication – ICTU’s strengths – were highlighted as having many opportunities in developed countries such as Japan, South Korea, Germany, and Australia. Attending students also received detailed guidance on how to prepare their applications, interview skills, and the necessary criteria for successful applications.

A highlight of the seminar was the interaction with former IAESTE interns who had worked abroad. Nguyen Minh Anh, a third-year student in International Information Technology, shared, “My internship in Japan last year helped me learn a lot from a professional working environment. I not only improved my programming skills but also became more confident in communicating in English.” These real-life stories strongly inspired the attending students, sparking a desire to test themselves in the international arena.

In addition, the seminar provided information about scholarships and financial support from IAESTE as well as from ICTU, helping to ease the financial burden for students during their internships. This is one of the university’s efforts to encourage students to boldly step out into the world, while also affirming ICTU’s position in training high-quality human resources that meet the needs of international integration.

At the end of the seminar, many students expressed their excitement and determination to prepare for the 2025 internships. The event was not just an information session but also a great source of motivation, helping young people at ICTU have a clearer orientation for their future careers in an increasingly globalized context.

With the success of this seminar, ICTU and IAESTE Vietnam plan to continue expanding their cooperation, bringing more valuable opportunities to students in the coming years. This is an important step, contributing to improving the quality of training and affirming the brand of the University of Information and Communication Technology on the international education map.
