The International Training Institute (IIT-ICTU) Actively Participates in the Book and Reading Culture Day – English Festival at Dai Tu High School, Thai Nguyen

On April 14, 2025, Dai Tu High School in Thai Nguyen jubilantly held its English Festival, a meaningful event to encourage a love for and improve the English language skills of its students. The International Training Institute (IIT) – from the University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) – was honored to participate and brought exciting activities that attracted a lot of attention from the high school students.

The festival featured a variety of engaging programs, providing opportunities for students to showcase their English talents through:

  • Confident presentations about local highlights such as specialties, historical sites, and cultural traditions, all in English.
  • Creative poster designs titled “Dai Tu Through My Eyes,” introducing the culture, specialties, or international integration potential of Dai Tu using English.
  • Sharing a passion for reading English books through the “Book Review Challenge” with impressive book introductions and summaries.
  • The thrilling and engaging “Golden Bell Ringing” competition, where students demonstrated their English knowledge and reflexes through questions and answers.

Notably, the International Training Institute (IIT) brought exciting and beneficial experiential activities to the festival:

  • Experience Zone for IIT Student Research and Study Products: The booth displaying virtual reality (VR) glasses researched and developed by the Institute’s students attracted a large crowd, offering unique and novel technology experiences to the high school students.
  • Participation in Hosting the “Golden Bell Ringing” Competition: Representatives from IIT helped create the script and acted as bilingual (English-Vietnamese) MCs, creating a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere for this intellectual competition.

  • Providing Information about International Training Programs: The IIT consulting team enthusiastically introduced the “International Information Technology” and “KNU Joint Program in Software Engineering” programs, opening up opportunities for high-quality education and access to an international environment for Dai Tu High School students.

The active participation of the International Training Institute (IIT) was warmly welcomed by the students of Dai Tu High School. IIT’s activities not only provided enjoyable experiences but also helped promote the Institute’s image and introduce its quality training programs to the students, sparking their passion for information technology and opening up promising future directions.

This was a meaningful activity, demonstrating the connection between IIT-ICTU and high schools in Thai Nguyen province, working towards the goal of comprehensive education development and improving the quality of human resources for the future.
