OUTSTANDING ALUMNUS PHẠM ĐĂNG HOÀNG (KTPM KNU K19) SHARES HIS EXPERIENCE WITH THE ICTU – KNU JOINT TRAINING PROGRAM 🎓

Phạm Đăng Hoàng, an alumnus of the Software Engineering class (KTPM KNU K19) managed by the Institute of International Training (IIT), has excellently graduated from the Software Engineering joint training program between the University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) and Kyungpook National University (KNU), South Korea. We conducted a quick interview with Hoàng to hear about his experiences, insights, and contributions regarding the training program.

Current Job and Future Directions

PV: After graduating from the joint training program between ICTU and KNU, what is your current job and where are you working?

Phạm Đăng Hoàng: Currently, I am working in the Project Management (PM) department for Foxconn Hon Hai Company in Quang Chau Industrial Park, Bac Giang.

PV: Do you aspire to pursue postgraduate training programs?

Phạm Đăng Hoàng: I missed the ideal time to pursue further studies for a master’s degree. Even though I won’t be continuing my studies, I still wish to contribute my opinions to build and provide better support for the subsequent cohorts of students.

Evaluation of the Training Program and Learning Environment

PV: What are your evaluations of studying at KNU and ICTU (facilities, lecturers, curriculum, etc.)?

Phạm Đăng Hoàng:

  • On the part of ICTU and IIT: The lecturers at the Institute always try to create the best possible conditions for us to develop to our fullest potential.
  • On the part of KNU: The Professors were enthusiastic and supportive. However, as it is an international environment, it is naturally more demanding and requires greater effort and meticulous preparation.

Suggestions for Program Improvement

PV: What are your personal suggestions to perfect the training program, promote its effectiveness, and be more student-centric?

Phạm Đăng Hoàng: As the first cohort, although the program was not entirely perfect, it was still complete. I hope that the 3+2 exchange student strategy will be feasible starting next year. This is something I really wanted to have when I was studying at KNU, but there wasn’t enough meticulous preparation beforehand. I believe that these personal opinions will contribute somewhat to helping the lecturers improve the program for the following cohorts of students.

The Institute of International Training (IIT) congratulates and thanks Phạm Đăng Hoàng for his honest sharing. We wish you continued success in your career path! 🚀
