MAI QUY LONG (CLASS KTPM K22 KNU) HONORED WITH THE “5-GOOD STUDENT” AWARD AT THE PROVINCIAL LEVEL FOR THE 2024-2025 ACADEMIC YEAR
On January 6, 2026, during the ceremony celebrating the 76th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students and the Vietnam Students’ Association, student Mai Quy Long – a prominent representative from the KNU international joint program – was excellently honored as a Provincial-level “5-Good Student” for the 2024-2025 academic year.
To recognize the outstanding efforts of the younger generation, the Youth Union and the Vietnam Students’ Association of Thai Nguyen Province organized the “3-Good Students,” “3-Training Students,” and “5-Good Students” Commendation Program 2026. The event was attended by leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Youth Union, and representatives from Thai Nguyen University.
A Shining Example from the International Joint Program
Surpassing the rigorous criteria in five categories: Ethics, Academic Performance, Physical Fitness, Volunteerism, and Integration, Mai Quy Long, a student from the Software Engineering KNU Joint Program – Intake 22 (KTPM K22 KNU) at the International School of Training and Institute (ISTI), officially became one of the typical individuals honored at the ceremony.
This achievement is a clear testament to the training quality and student movements at ISTI, where the focus is not only on international-standard specialized knowledge but also on creating a dynamic environment for students to achieve comprehensive self-development.
Well-deserved Recognition for Persistent Effort
At the commendation ceremony, Mai Quy Long and other outstanding individuals were awarded:
- Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Students’ Association of Thai Nguyen Province.
- Commemorative Trophies for the Provincial-level “5-Good Student” title.
- English Language Scholarships worth 6.4 million VND from AMES English Center.
Speaking at the opening of the program, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien – Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and President of the Provincial Students’ Association, emphasized: “This title serves as a motivation for the emulation movements in learning and training among Thai Nguyen’s youth to continue growing, spreading examples of comprehensive effort and the desire to contribute.”
