ICTU Signs MOU with Japan’s Retired Professors Association (OTN) and Welcomes Leading Expert
On October 24, 2025, Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) – Thai Nguyen University was honored to welcome Prof. Mizuhito Ogawa, a specialist from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) and President of the Japan Retired Professors Association (OTN), to visit and work at the university. The visit aimed to discuss cooperation and proceed with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between ICTU and OTN.
As part of the one-day working program, Prof. Mizuhito Ogawa, together with representatives of the Board of Rectors and leaders of relevant departments/faculties/institutes, held discussions on cooperation and signed the MOU between ICTU and OTN. The signing ceremony took place at Meeting Room No. 3.
Also on October 24, 2025, Prof. Mizuhito Ogawa conducted a Specialized Seminar on the intriguing topic: “Feasible Control Flow Graph as Binary Code Feature” (Biểu đồ luồng điều khiển khả thi dưới dạng tính năng mã nhị phân).
The seminar attracted active participation from a wide range of attendees, including:
- Representatives of the Board of Rectors.
- Mizuhito Ogawa.
- Representatives of the Leadership from the Department of Science-Technology & International Cooperation (P. KH-CN&HTQT), Department of Training (P. ĐT), Faculty of Information Technology (Khoa CNTT), Institute of International Training (Viện ĐTQT), and Institute of Applied Science and Technology (Viện KHCN&UD).
- Graduate students and Lecturers from the Network and Information Security Department – Faculty of IT.
- Significantly, the Institute of International Training (ĐTQT) sent 10 students from intake K22 and K23 to attend the seminar.
- Lecturers and students who were interested.
The high and active participation of students, especially those from the Institute of International Training, demonstrated a keen learning spirit and a desire to access advanced specialized knowledge from international experts.
The visit and work of Prof. Mizuhito Ogawa, along with the signing of the MOU between ICTU and OTN, is an important step in promoting international cooperation, enhancing the quality of scientific research and training at ICTU, and providing valuable opportunities for knowledge access and academic exchange for the university’s lecturers and students.
