ICTU and Kyungpook National University (South Korea) Inaugurate GICE Center, Marking a New Milestone in International Cooperation
On September 16, 2025, the ICTU (Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology) and Kyungpook National University (KNU) of South Korea signed a cooperation agreement to expand their international joint training program.
Under the agreement, the two universities will collaborate on student recruitment, organize workshops, offer short-term training courses, and conduct cultural exchange activities. Notably, KNU will create a separate admissions track and provide Korean language training for students, while ICTU will assist with recruitment promotion, management, and support for students throughout their studies at KNU.
A significant milestone of this partnership is the inauguration of the Global Innovation and Convergence Education (GICE) Center at ICTU. This is KNU’s first center to be established at a partner institution, and ICTU is honored to be the first partner chosen among nearly 500 global partners. The establishment of the GICE Center at ICTU will not only provide opportunities for students to study and exchange but also serve as a hub for scientific research and innovation, contributing to the implementation of Resolutions 57, 59, and 71.
The expansion of this strategic partnership with KNU, one of the top 10 universities in South Korea, not only affirms the prestige of both institutions but also creates numerous opportunities for Vietnamese students in terms of study, research, and international integration.
