Field Trip at Viettel Academy – Study Tour 2023
Practical experience at businesses, research and educational facilities is an activity that the Institute of International Training – Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communications Technology pays great attention to and is regularly organized for students of the Institute. On November 16, 2023, the International Training Institute coordinated with Viettel Academy (VTAac) – Viettel Group to organize the program “Study Tour 2023” for nearly 100 students of the Institute. This is an annual activity organized by VTAac to enhance exchanges and connections between VTAac and universities. Through the program, students might have extremely valuable practical experiences.
Beginning the journey, the Institute’s delegations of teachers and students visited the headquarters of Viettel Group in Cau Giay, Hanoi. Here, students have the opportunity to visit the group’s Digital Museum and be introduced to the history of formation, development and achievements that the group has achieved over the past three decades.

At the end of the visit at the headquarters of Viettel Group, the group of teachers and students of the school got on the bus and moved to the headquarters of Viettel Academy in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park – Thach That – Hanoi, which is ranked as 1 of the 12 most beautiful training facilities in the world.
Viettel Academy (2015), formerly known as the Technical Department Training Board (2004-2006), Viettel Training Center (2006-2015) is an establishment specializing in training and fostering technical and business expertise as well as management… for staff and employees throughout the corporation.

In VTAca’s cinema room, students can watch precious films about traditional and culture history, as well as digital transformation achievements of Viettel Group during the process of formation and development. Here, students can also interact with senior managers of VTAca as well as the group’s experts.

During the exchange, students were shared very useful information about Viettel’s working environment, policies to attract and remunerate talents, as well as career opportunities at Viettel. Viettel have designed many special programs to attract and nurture talents. In these special programs, students can participate in real-life projects, challenge themselves with difficult math problems, participate in in-depth trainings and receive guidance from both domestic and abroad leading experts in the field of Viettel; Exchange and connect with talented peers and seniors in the profession through travel, knowledge sharing and teambuilding activities and other attractive opportunities and incentives.

The “Study Tour 2023” program brings students of the Institute of International Training many useful things. It helps students have a realistic view of the opportunities and challenges that await them, thereby helping students shape a serious and professional attitude in studies and works in the future. The experience also created a premise and motivation for students to chase their dreams and goals. Hopefully after this experience, the students will have more determination and effort to study and many students will become excellent officers contributing to the development and growth of Viettel Group in the not-so-distant future.
