[CONGRATULATIONS] IIT STUDENTS EXCELLENTLY WIN SECOND PRIZE AT THE 2025 CREATIVE STARTUP COMPETITION

Recently, at the American Space – Digital Center, Thai Nguyen University, the final round of the “Creative Startup Ideas for Students in the Northern Mountains” competition took place with great success. The International Training Institute (IIT) is proud to congratulate team ForAE for surpassing many formidable opponents to honorably receive the Second Prize.

Affirming the Intellectual Prowess of IIT Students

This year’s competition was sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi. It attracted a large number of contestants who are students studying in the northern mountainous provinces of Vietnam. Aiming to promote dynamic thinking and connect feasible projects with the regional startup ecosystem, the competition required teams to have ideas that were both innovative and highly practical.  

Team ForAE, consisting of 4 members: Luu The Ha, Hoang Manh Cuong, Nguyen Thanh Trung, and Nguyen Tran Anh Hoang (Students of class CNTT QT K22B and CNTT QT K22A – International Training Institute), presented the project:

“OpenAgri – Applying Machine Learning to Agriculture”

The project focuses on solving agricultural problems through Machine Learning technology, reflecting the spirit of an innovative project in the digital age.

Deserved Achievements

After passing the online preliminary rounds and an intensive training program with startup experts at the Digital Center, team ForAE perfected their Business Model Canvas and presentation skills to convince the Board of Judges.  

By securing the Runner-up position (Second Prize), team ForAE received:  

• A prize worth 5,000,000 VND.  
• A Certificate of Participation from the Digital Center – TNU and the representative of the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam.  
• Opportunities to connect with potential investors to incubate and develop the project.  

Inspiring the Entrepreneurial Spirit

The achievement of the ForAE team is not only the pride of class CNTT QT K22B but also a testament to the quality of training and the constant spirit of learning and research of students at the International Training Institute (IIT) – University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU).
