“Colorful ICTU 2025” International Student Exchange: A Memorable Event!
On August 1, 2025, Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) successfully hosted the “Colorful ICTU 2025” international student exchange program and celebrated the 10th anniversary of its partnership with the Institute for Technical and International Development (IDTI) from the United States. The event, held at the multi-purpose hall, attracted a large number of students and staff from the university.
The program began with a welcome ceremony for the delegates, followed by special musical performances. Speeches by representatives of the ICTU Board of Directors and Mr. Mark Nelson, Director of IDTI, highlighted the significance of the event. A video clip showcasing the 10-year partnership between the two institutions was also screened, creating a touching moment for the attendees.
The highlight of the program was the lively cultural exchange activities:
- Exploring Vietnamese and multicultural traditions: Delegates and international guests were challenged with interesting questions about culture. Four teams, each consisting of Vietnamese and international students, competed in a quiz to learn about various cultures.
- Traditional games: The “Nhảy sạp” (bamboo dancing) and “Hành trình của quả bóng” (ball journey) games created an exciting and cohesive atmosphere.
- Singing “Hello Vietnam”: All attendees sang the song “Hello Vietnam” together, expressing a spirit of friendship and integration.
The program concluded successfully at 9:40 PM (21:40). The Institute for International Training (IIT) [Viện Đào tạo quốc tế] sent all of its students and international interns to participate in the program. The institute also selected four students with good English communication skills to assist and interact with the IDTI delegation, contributing to the overall success of the event.
