{"id":9770,"date":"2026-09-09T08:37:13","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T01:37:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iit.ictu.edu.vn\/en\/?p=9770"},"modified":"2026-09-14T08:43:00","modified_gmt":"2026-09-14T01:43:00","slug":"international-institute-of-technology-iit-ictu-holds-placement-english-proficiency-test-for-k25-freshmen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iit.ictu.edu.vn\/en\/international-institute-of-technology-iit-ictu-holds-placement-english-proficiency-test-for-k25-freshmen\/","title":{"rendered":"International Institute of Technology (IIT) \u2013 ICTU Holds Placement English Proficiency Test for K25 Freshmen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On September 7 and 8, 2026, the Institute of International Training (IIT) at the University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) organized an English proficiency assessment for all incoming K25 freshmen.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">The exam comprehensively evaluated four core language skills\u2014Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing\u2014to accurately and objectively measure students&#8217; language proficiency as they begin their university journey.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">According to the Institute\u2019s academic regulations, achieving a minimum <strong data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"71\">B1 level (under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages &#8211; CEFR)<\/strong> is required for freshmen to directly enroll in their specialized major courses.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\"><strong data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">For students reaching B1 level or higher:<\/strong> They fully qualify to begin their official major coursework immediately.<\/li>\n<li data-path-to-node=\"6,1,0\"><strong data-path-to-node=\"6,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">For students who have not yet reached the B1 level:<\/strong> They will be enrolled in a <strong data-path-to-node=\"6,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"79\">one-year preparatory English program<\/strong>. This curriculum is structured to reinforce foundational knowledge and develop balanced language skills, helping students quickly enhance their language proficiency to prepare for upcoming major courses in subsequent years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">The assessment was conducted smoothly, securely, and in full compliance with examination regulations.
